Huawei AP771 Outdoor Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Access Point

Huawei eKitEngine AP771 Outdoor Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Access Point

Huawei eKitEngine AP771 is an outdoor wireless access point (AP) in compliance with the Wi-Fi 7 standard
(802.11be). It stands out with excellent outdoor coverage performance, IP65-rated waterproof and dustproof
design, and strong surge protection capability. It also leverages Wi-Fi 7 innovations to significantly improve users' wireless experience and is ideal for signal coverage in various scenarios, such as squares, pedestrian streets, and amusement parks.

Extend your network. Connect more users. Bring high-speed Wi-Fi outdoors.

Give your customers, staff and visitors the connectivity they expect with the Huawei eKitEngine AP771. Designed for outdoor deployment, this dual-band Wi-Fi 7 access point combines wireless speeds of up to 3.57 Gbps with weather protection and omnidirectional coverage. From parks and playgrounds to outdoor hospitality and commercial spaces, it provides a practical foundation for expanding connectivity beyond your building.

Fast connectivity with broad outdoor coverage

Simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios, each featuring 2×2 MIMO, support a mix of everyday devices and demanding wireless applications. Built-in omnidirectional antennas distribute coverage around the access point, with Huawei specifying an optimal coverage distance of 130 metres under suitable conditions.

The AP771 supports up to 256 connected users, with 130 users recommended—making it a compelling choice for shared outdoor spaces. A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink provides a fast connection to your wired network, while PoE delivers power and data through one cable to simplify installation.

Intelligent features that work for your business

• Efficient wireless performance: 4096-QAM, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and beamforming improve transmission efficiency and support multiple devices.

• Interference management: Automatic channel scanning and radio calibration help maintain performance as surrounding wireless conditions change.

• Smoother roaming: 802.11k/v/r support helps compatible devices move between access points with fewer interruptions.

• Flexible deployment: Choose standalone Fat AP, controller-managed Fit AP or cloud management mode.

• Convenient administration: The HUAWEI eKit App supports Wi-Fi or barcode-based onboarding and remote maintenance.

• Secure access: WPA2/WPA3 authentication, 802.1X and portal authentication provide flexible access controls.

• Separate networks: SSID-based VLAN assignment and client isolation help separate guest and business traffic.

• Traffic control: WMM, airtime scheduling and per-user bandwidth limits help manage shared capacity.

• Network expansion: Mesh backhaul supports flexible wireless deployment options.

Built for outdoor installation

An IP65-rated enclosure protects against dust and water ingress, while 6 kA Ethernet surge protection adds resilience. Wall or pole mounting lets installers position the AP where coverage is needed.
