A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink with PoE input connects the AP661 to compatible network infrastructure, while an additional Gigabit Ethernet port provides another wired connection.

Power over Ethernet carries power and data through one cable, simplifying installation where a nearby socket is inconvenient. Use IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or suitable 12 V DC power for unrestricted functionality. Wall and ceiling installation options help position the access point where coverage is needed.
